Hello all, I'm having a terrific time trying to figure out how to get my printer, and my scanner to work in Linux.
Both are USB. For scanning, I understand I need to install SANE and SnapScan http://snapscan.sourceforge.net/ My scanner is a BenQ 4300 W. My printer, I assume. I need CUPS and Ghostscript. I've installed CUPS and Ghostscript and. I have no idea from there where to go. What files to configure. etc. Same thing with my scanner. Any idea's? Yes they are pluged in.
