Since I'm a Gnome user, I have the Ximian Gnome desktop installed on RH 7.3. It comes with a great updating and rpm management tool called Red Carpet. From Red Carpet, just subscribe to the RH 7.3 channel and click the Install button. You'll be presented with a searchable list of all the RPMS that Red Hat provides. This is useful if you didn't select "Install Everything" during the RH installation. If the RPM isn't part of the RH 7.3 distribution (you didn't say), then you're probably best off trying rpmfind.net for RPMS or best of all going to the project site of the software you want and using their RPMs. They'll almost certainly have a source tarball available as well. -- Guy Davis http://www.guydavis.ca Calgary, Alberta, Canada Digitally signed by GnuPG (DSA ID 30D52F0B at www.keyserver.net) PGP Fingerprint: 8DC8 4A6F C1AD 393B 39DB CDBF 196D 31D0 30D5 2F0B
