It could be worse. You could flick your ashes right into the drives. That would be bad. You'll probably find a whole lot of ash in your keyboard too if you open it up. But in the same vein, you should see the amounts of cat fur I pull out of my system when I open it up, and I'm hoping no one starts banning cats. ;-)
