power consumption? running p3-850 768megs sdram pc133. NIC card, from SMC 10/100 soundblaster live platinum with live drive (firewire is on the card, and the drive) creative dvd drive w/ dxr3 decoder card sony cd burner 8x/4x/32x floppy drive. pretty sure only a 250w power supply. sound like the card might take out to much power? (has own fan, along with firewire, dvi, and anouther plug for its own a/v in/out dongle). -- web: www.wormhole5.org current: calgary, ab ----- Original Message ----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Sunday, October 6, 2002 2:48 am Subject: Re: (clug-talk) hey, mobo prob's > no i have the latest bios possible. > > its a agp card, ill try and shove it in further. > > basically wondering if anyone knows of bios work arounds. > > (grrr hardware was nicer back in the day) > > -- > web: www.wormhole5.org > current: calgary, ab > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Sbastien Taylor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Sunday, October 6, 2002 2:39 am > Subject: Re: (clug-talk) hey, mobo prob's > > > Not sure what your asking, do you want to know how to update > your > > BIOS? > > Also, make sure you card is in all the way, sometimes the back > > end of > > the card isn't in all the way and it doesn't work. > > > > Le Dimanche, 6 octo 2002, 02:01 Canada/Mountain, > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] a > > crit : > > > > > odd q for you all. > > > > > > just got a nice, new, video card. > > > ATI all in wonder 8500dv. > > > mobo is a Gigabyte BX-2000+ board. > > > > > > now, when i start the computer, gives one long beep, then two > > short > > > ones. > > > > > > looked around, ati says that it has had support problems with > a > > few > > > mobo boards, > > > but alas, no list. > > > > > > emailed gigabyte for some help... no answer. > > > > > > so, anyone know of a way to get a bios update for it (im using > > latest > > > bios from g/b)? > > > > > > thanks. > > > > > > -- nathan > > > > > > -- > > > web: www.wormhole5.org > > > current: calgary, ab > > > > > >
