I was at a MS seminar today where they where covering the .Net platform.
The speaker told a funny story, but her comments afterwards were even more
funny.  I had to share with the group....

The story goes like so:

Some university had some trouble finding one of their servers.  They were
able to connect to it over the network, and manage it, but they could not
find the physical box.  The search apparently lasted for years.  It turned
out that the server was in a closet which was walled in during renovations
some time ago - The server had been up and running just fine even though
noone was able to get at it physically.  This was a unix server.

The speakers comments afterwards were something like so: 
"Anyone would kill to have a server that could be that stable for so long
without regular attention".  This from a Microsoft employee...  Makes one
think....   <grins>
