hrm.. it's always hard to answer when someone says "it runs very slow" because
"slow" and "very" are rather subjective. so... slow compared to what? and
what exactly is slow? boot up time? application start up time? application
responsiveness? moving windows? logging in at a console?
also, without any real data given, it's impossible to mount an answer: what
software are you running (GNOME? KDE? Apache? database servers? email
servers?), what sort of memory usage stat shows, what sort of CPU usage is
going on, etc...

they just compile for i586.. but that isn't really a problem either way...
it's for any Intel compatible arch that is a 486 or better.
