Hi Bruce.
I am currently at Comp Sci. Student U of C. Good choice. If you have any questions about it just ask. It's nice to have one of the Unixes (is that pural for Unix?) around the house. You probably won't need any help!
    RH 8 almost installs itself. Make sure to learn the shell commands:
ls
pwd
mkdir
etc...

and learn to use ssh. (secure shell) it's the only sane way to get the homwork done.
