Just thought I would let everyone know...just simply for the cool factor alone!
Was checking the shelves at Staples today and what did I see. Canadian editions of OpenOffice.org for sale!!! This means that when someone comes in looking for an office suite for their brand new computer, I can now sell them a MS Office XP compatible office suite for the paltry sum of $14.96!!! I know people have absolutely loved it when I sold them the StarOffice 6.0 for less than a $100. I know lots of folks on the list tend not to favor the big retailers, but I would ask you to consider them. They are the ones with the buying power to bring in products at lower prices. The little guys are great as well, but it often the big box boy's that set the tones. I know a few people out there have their own businesses out there and are always looking for products to sell. Let me know if you are interested (offline) and I will send you a link for the distributors in Canada. They are currently looking for resellers so might be a great way to close a sale.
