I just did it a couple days ago.

How long after you completed the form did it take for HP to call/email you back?
Seeing as I did this a day or so ago, just wondering if I'll actually be getting a copy.

Just for interest I filled out the HP form for a free copy of the
Revolution OS video and they just phoned and, after confirming the
info
I entered into the form, told me my copy + other info should arrive
shortly.
Cool.

Jarrod,
The DVD will be probably around $28 USD plus shipping. The $150
price>>is what the distributor charges for video screenings of
REVOLUTION OS
before large groups at conferences, universities, etc. Those
tapes are
not intended for private home use or retail sales. They tell me
that>>price is fairly typical for a video licensed for
educational/institutional use (large group screenings).
The good news is that the DVD will be far cheaper, and that I
will be
giving permission to LUGs for free screenings of the DVD. However,
that's still a couple of months away. Right now, we are hoping
to have
a good run in Edmonton, and then may be get booked into a theatre in
Calgary.
Thanks again for your interest in REVOLUTION OS. I'm sure we will
figure out a way for CLUG to see the film in the next couple of
months.>>
Sincerely,
J.T.S. Moore

Mr. Moore,
I appreciate your email on the showing in Edmonton. Some rather

the VHS is. I was quote a price of $150 by your distributor.
This seems
ridiculously steep, no offence.
Our little group would love to obtain a copy, so there are quite
a few
of us
who are awaiting the DVD release.
Thanks again,

Jarrod,
I thought you would want to know that a cinemascope 35mm print of
REVOLUTION OS will play at Metro Cinemas in Edmonton from Dec.
20-22.
I
know Edmonton is a bit of a drive up the road from Calgary, but I
thought you and some of the other CLUG members might be
interested.>>>>
The DVD should be available around February, and will be a 2-disc
special edition with lots of extra material.
Sincerely,
J.T.S. Moore
