OK, thank you muchly. I'm impressed with the reaction and think Cameron has a great idea. Not like the group needs to change in any way shape or form but I'm finding more and more, that I need to belong to LUG's overseas instead of right here at home in Canada. And the funny part is that Mandrake is as European as it gets. I don't think splitting Linux/Open Source Users into a Calgary SuSE group and Calgary MDK group and Calgary RH group is necessary at all. However, for the newcomers and newbies in general, with the type of questions newbies ask that are SOOOOOO distro and installation deemed that the idea of a "Statistics" for distro would be perfect in the corner of the main page of each and EVERY LUG worldwide. Making it happen is once again probably a democratic decision but I for one say YES. I have found the Linux world to be only STUNNING itself with Mandrake vs Red Hat vs SuSE vs Debian etc etc etc and don't wish to start a United Linux (and it's already out) debate. But, I remember how long it took me to decide which Linux would be right for me. And since, have found that my first question being exactly as it was in this message, would save me from not being able to help others where I was helped and reading miles and miles of unnecessary email text that don't apply to me in the most important respect, which is helping others. So, thanks to all and I'll hang round when I can and hope distro's don't interfere with the overall help needed in general : )
