Hi But if you want to be on the safe side, check the exsistence of them util programs as your user
$ whereis commandnamewithoutpath then strings the correct path, you where actually doing it correct. And you may need to install gnu util rpm, if you did not, but this should go with the base package, so your question may not be so simple after all. ? Did the install go OK ? ? Did you do advanced install, or chose one of the available setups like desktop ? ? can you copy files ... despite missing the cp command from /bin ? can you do a ls -la /bin and send it to me only ... Why are you missing those files ???
