just don't forget to follow up on it =) John Firebaugh has replied to your bug 
asking for more details. w/out follow up from the user, a bug report is much 
less useful.

best practices for reporting bugs include:

 o a clear description of what happened (you did that pretty well =)
 o providing a detailed step-by-step as to how you got to that point, whether 
or not you can reproduce the bug, etc
 o a backtrace. this is a sort of "where the program was at when it crashed" 
report. in kde, when an application crashes you will get the KDE crash 
handler window. it has a backtrace tab on it. when you click on that tab it 
will start compiling a back trace. wait until there is content in the text 
area, then copy it (there's a handy Copy button there =) and include that in 
your bug report (unless it is completely useless because, for instance, you 
are using binaries built without any debuging symbols)
