Hey Dave,

I'll try and answer your questions as best I can. Yes, it is an install and
tweak fest. It seems silly to exclude one over the other. Besides, there are
lots of tweaks once someone has their system installed.

The web page has been updated. If you want to edit it to include a list of
names you are more than welcome but as the wiki is insecure I would rather
take everyone's name down who is interested.

The last one was fairly informal and it went that if you had your questions
all set to go there were people to answer them. Again, I cannot stress
enough that anyone planning on attending and getting their system install,
do some homework first and make sure your hardware is supported. I would
suggest if this is your first Linux install to go with a dedicated box if
you can spare it and run of the mill hardware, nothing wacky. Also, start
small, don't set yourself up for disappointment by intending to create a
multi level super server. I would wager that there might be the odd guru
willing to take the challenge but I suspect the KISS principle would be
better for the average newb.

I like the idea of listing what you plan to install however as that would
enable those of us organizing it to have the necessary resources there. I'm
hoping that people will be generous and bring burned copies of their
favourite distro. I cannot say how thankful people were to Jeff Clement for
burning multiple copies of Mandrake and Knoppix last time.

This will be fun.

Jarrod
