I would love to be there. Will even see if the GF is willing to come as well. She installed Mandrake 8.0 by herself but I just bought her a new hard drive so it is essentially bare right now. Would make a great starting place for her I think. And the appeal of the new MDK 9.0 on the Linux Format... well to good to pass up.

Nexus Bookstore has been a longtime supporter of the Calgary Linux Users Group and this is one of those win-win situations for both our organizations. We need to hash out the details but as it was last time it would be held on a Saturday. Now Valentine's Day is on a Friday so there doesn't appear to be any conflicting holidays in February. Kevin will be getting back to us with some potential dates. I would love to go over an IPCop install with anyone who is interested. Beyond that it would be up to those that attends and those that lend a hand. We will discuss this at the meeting on Wednesday and I can start taking some names.
