I talked a lot to AppGen about their products and the thing I like the best is the SDK (System Development Kit) that they have.
It does not cost much and I can create Linux native C or C++ programs to link directly into the AppGen server.

I have not asked about this with AccPac but my guess is if they have one it would be out of my price range.
