as far as i can tell, only to the local machine. you can tell it which ports
to open to the 'net, but it doesn't go much further than that in complexity.
of course, most people don't need more than that, so i'm guessing that's why
it isn't there (yet?) ..
there are some good GUI linux firewall config tools available out there on the
net that do allow more complex things... i haven't tried many of them
personally, but have heard good things about a couple of the KDE ones. i
absolutely detest the one that comes w/RH8 (i think it was written by alan
cox, if i'm not mistaken; if so, that man is a kernel genious but shouldn't
go near a UI ;)...
