I've actually ran java VM on the same machine with Win2000... my guess
is that there other things running, (ex> KDE...) that is making it so
bad. I'll try "urpmi" and run a lwwm.
Doesn't ice and blackbox run on kde components?
So I'm going to run the urpmi's that Aaron suggested and the upgrade
things like this:
urpmi IceWM
urpmi mozilla
urpmi samba
urpmi apache
...
...
is this correct? How do I find the package names? I'm getting
"everything already installed" when I type "urpmi perl", "urpmi" and
"urmpi perl-base"
