For those following at home we had our advance voting for the CLUG Bylaws. I offered my home for this purpose yesterday and today. Marcel lent a hand yesterday in the capacity of witness and my wife filled in on that job today. We had three fellows take advantage of the advance voting. I had heard from a couple other interested parties but they did not make it unfortunately. All appeared to be impressed with how organized I was. I have a ballot box (that is sealed quite securely), I have a voting screen for privacy, and of course I have the ballots themselves. I also have a list of all the registered Tier Two (2) members (with room for anyone who signs up on Wednesday). I am quite anxious about this vote. I want to see CLUG move forward and I think these Bylaws are one of the essential first steps we need to make. Thus far nobody seems to have any real issues with them. My fellow Executives and I are quite encouraged by the whole process so far.
