today on this little list we've heard about kernel oopsen and CD burners that
stopped working on RH8.
please consider this when recommending or deciding on what to roll out in
production systems.
linux does not need a bad rep unecessarly gained just because of one
particular distro's bungles in a given release. this is why we have multiple
distros, why we have older releases kicking around, etc...
