Or simply go into the BIOS and make sure that the "Assign IRQ to VGA adapter" 
is set to no.  That looks like the problem.  PCI does a WONDERFUL job at 
sharing  PCI IRQ's and beyond.  IMHO -------------- APIC is nothing but a 
mistake for both or nearly all OS's.  But they just had to try and improve on 
something that couldn't be improved upon any further.   Some things are 
FINITE.  And something even better than SCSI is on the way, darned if I can 
start this brainstall.
