<sighs> Here I was getting all excited that things were working...  Guess
the roommates computer was somehow resolving the name from MY router/DNS -
which wouldn't be too tough given my network layout... I'm resolving to the
interal address as well from work here. :(

On the plus side, this isn't a very high priority right now, so isn't
critical to get in place yet.  But I would like to get it done and out of
the way - one less thing to worry about.  Back to the books.....

it resolves to 192.168.0.15 ... probalby not what you want. your named.conf 
doesn't have any allowance for a slave, though...

        allow-transfer
        {

                srns2.superreal.net;
        };
};

again, assuming this is working via the trad master/slave dns stuff
