Just put it in your cdrom drive and boot it as it is a bootable cd. The whole thing runs live on the cd... It will automagically configure about 90% of most PCs correctly on boot including X, your nic, sound card , etc.. To install it to the hdd go to the Knoppix menu item and select root terminal then invoke clug-hddinstall. Some issues remain with the installer. You will need to partition manually with cfdisk first and you will only be able to install to hda or sda. Other issues include having to run the netcardconfig tool again after install will also occur. All the best, Dan
