Hello all,

You probably can't just make Mozilla work. Some banks just won't work with anything other than Internet Exploder or Netscape 4.x. I know I have netscape 4.79 installed under linux just to do online banking. You should be able to get the netscape source rpm from Mandrake 8.1 and rebuild it for Mandrake 9.0. That's similar to what I did with Red Hat 8 to get netscape 4.7x installed.

All is not lost because apparently the newest version of Opera pretends to be IE well enough to allow some banking sites to use it but not all. I tried the windows version of Opera 7 with my bank and it worked so I may finally be able to bury netscape 4.79 for good...

regards,
