I also just installed 9.1 on my main tri-boot workstation and first impressions are great. The latest KDE and Gnome are very slick and fast, and my Hauppauge TV card has NEVER looked better in Linux. I have always griped about the image quality under Linux and xawtv, compared to windows, but no more. Image quality is perfect. And, a simple download of libdvdcss and Xine works right out of the box for encoded DVD's, something I never got to work properly without lots of fiddling.
Now the complaints. I dont like the changes to the installer...too simplistic and I prefered the control I had before. Also, something strange in that I have trouble mouting some NFS exports on my network coming from some RH 7.3 servers. Doesnt make much sense so far as all other machines running rh 7.3, 8.0 and Mandrake 8 work fine, and the exports are wide open to everyone, not just the local 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 network?
Watch out for the port you're connecting on/from. There is an option about connecting on privileged ports or non privileged.
