So if they are only going after breach of contracts now, then why is McBride threatening to sue Linus? This from marketwatch (also reported on slashdot): "McBride added that unless more companies start licensing SCO's property, he may also sue Linus Torvalds, who is credited with inventing the Linux operating system, for patent infringement." I'm also wondering if United Linux is still alive. Turbolinux sold off it's Linux assets shortly after the group was started, and now SCO has cut its Linux division. So do SuSE and Conectiva really have any chance of making a go of this thing?
