I am trying to get various host/service notifications running on one of my internal servers but messages dont get out and sendmail fails with the following
Jun 3 18:40:19 Penguin sendmail[14581]: My unqualified host name (Penguin) unknown; sleeping for retry Since it is an internal machine it only has the hostname "Penguin" but sendmail does not seem to like the unqualified host name.
