Well, one can be creative in their use of language skills without using slang & vulgarity :) >> Yes, it is all about communication but there are varying levels of >> communication. You can gain education from many activities such as reading good books, and other self-learning activities. However, we live in an area of the world where it is easy to get some form of "formal education" and we should take advantage of it in some way if we can. It's a shame, but the corporate world puts a lot (read too much) of importance on formal education. Without it, it becomes harder to earn a living :) Formal education doesn't necessarily mean the person who has it is guaranteed to know what they are doing, though. I for one can honestly say the things I learned in my 1 year of formal education, I could have learned in a couple days. I learned more from peers, friends, reading, and plain old playing around with things then I did from the formal education. This is why I think the corporate world puts too much emphasis on it, it doesn't necessarily mean anything. > > Cheers, -- Trevor Lauder Web: http://www.thelauders.net E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Resume: http://www.thelauders.net/resume/ Gentoo Powered "Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex...
