LOL!!!

You guys will love this one!

I was doing some research online awhile ago...likely signing up for something free or something and was looking at CRM and inventory control software. This turned out to be related to MS Great Plains.

Well, got a call from North Dakota (about 20 minutes or so on Microsoft's tab) today asking me about my CRM and Inventory needs as they relate to Great Plains. I figured...let them have it! I started mentioning how I was choosing Open Source solutions and how I sell a 10:1 ratio of StarOffice to Office XP and that I see more people choosing Open Source instead of closed source propritory products like Micrsosft.

I also mentioned something about when people are choosing products they often look at the motivations behind the company selling the product. Is MS only interested in money? What about security issues? Etc...etc! I then said that the reason open source is more popular because people look at their motivations as well...which seem more altruistic. I promoted StarOffice, OpenOffice, Mozilla, etc.

Could tell the guy was a bit frustrated, but still friendly. Could hear him typing furiously in the background as well filling in his report. HHEHEHEHEHEH!!!
