Hmm, then I would agree with Aaron the dri driver for the video must not have been included with the kernel update. There are a couple of solutions:


1) Recompile the kernel and add the support back in.

2) Use Vesa FrameBuffer for X. If you are just running a server this is probably the easiest solution. If you want to run OpenGL stuff, this is just a temporary fix.
