The actual clock speed is 1995 ( or 2G) 2100 is a 2600+ and 2158 is a 2700+
Does that help?

Should it ACTUALLY be running 2400, or is this the marketing speed rating? IE, 2400+, but actually running at 1800? They started putting marketing ratings on them a while ago, so that they didn't seem slower than a similar Intel chip. It's a fair rating, as far as I've seen, but it can confuse the issue a bit when trying to set up the MB.Kev. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Johnny Stork" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, July 20, 2003 2:47 PM Subject: (clug-talk) OT: Correct cpu timing to get 2400?This is the first time I have been unable to determine the correct cpu/fsbsettings to get a new mb/cpu to run at 2400 with an AMD XP 2400 CPU. The mb is an ASUS A7N8X-X and I cant seem to get it much beyond 1800?CPU External Freq = 100 (twice this is FSB, 200mhz) CPU Frequency Multiple 12x so shouldnt this give me 2400mhz for the CPU?
