I wonder if we should be looking at building some sort of database of parts
available and post that at the the clug website.  That way someone could
look for what they wanted and contact the person directly.

And if there are all of these parts around...maybe we could combine a
Swapfest and an installfest.  If the true spirit of community development
and sharing...build a "Franken-puter" and load Linux on it at the
InstallFest, and then donate it to a charity or raffle it off.  Say a Toonie
a ticket and the proceeeds could go to CLUG and the person walks home with a
system in there hands.

Seeing the response to Jeff's message regarding his assorted parts, it
appears that a number of people on the list have misc parts they'd like to
get rid of.  Maybe we can arrange a "swap" party?  some kind of meeting
where we bring whatever spare parts we would like to part with and let
others pick and choose what they want?  We'd have to take home whatever was
not claimed by someone else, but in theory we'd also be taking home other
items that we can use?

Sound good?  Any interest?
