Not from what I've seen. At the first sign of trouble, it died and gave me 
an error message saying that one package depends on another, but didn't 
bother telling me what version it was looking for or anything. And 12 hours 
to download headers on a cable modem! That's rediculous! It also doesn't 
bother to check if there is enough disk space for the install. It did 
exactly what I thought it was going to do, downloaded RPMS untill I had no 
space left on the disk, and then it died. I'm sorry but I've used urpmi and 
apt, and they both kick ass, but I cannot find one good thing to say about 
yum.
