Keith is right - there were no connection to debian on 21-22 of

I am able to get an ip address from my isp and I am able to ping www.yahoo.com and other places. The first time I installed debian on the box I accidently installed the 2.2 kernel but before I realized I installed it instead of 2.4 I did manage to get the apt system working perfectly fine..which leads me to beleive the problem may be with the nic card.
