all of you worrying/wondering about SUSE's direction post-Novel-buyout can probably breath a little easier today. in case anyone missed it, Richard Seibt was promoted to running Novel's European business, while Markus Rex of SUSE (and SUSE desktop) fame has been promoted to general manager of SUSE's tech development as well as Novel's desktop development. Ximian has been cut in two, with one group staying at Novel with the sys management group (Red Carpet, etc, i'd imagine) and the other group of 15 devs going to SUSE. interesting times. - -- Aaron J.
