I had done some poking around in /opt/kde/bin/ and looked at the ./startkde 
script, as well as investigated likely directories in ~/.kde, but KDE is a 
bit of a behemoth so naturally I had no idea exactly how it all fit together 
or which files in .kde/share/config/ to look at.

I found this one during my earlier perusal and it didn't contain any of the 
Evolution related programs -- mostly just konqueror.

Thanks for the fix, Aaron, as well as some insight and understanding into the 
KDE architecture.  I imagine this is just the first step on a long journey 
toward understanding it.  ;-)
