It looks as though we will be able to hold a meeting this month, but we're still trying to firm up the dates.
I would expect the first meeting to be VERY informal, and more of a gathering of like minds to talk shop. However, I will prepare a 15 minute presentation on my "web development road map" for the new coders in the crowd. Would anyone care to put together a 10 or 15 minute presentation for experienced programmers? Maybe something on the how and why of project management? Or what Java/PHP/Ruby/<insert a language here> has going for it? I would like to keep the first presentations very short to allow time to discuss group specific topics, and the free-form discussions. I'll post meeting dates/times/locations when I know them for sure.
