Most routers with rpint servers on them have some sort of software (usually)
windows only that installs a driver to allow you to access the printer
attached to the router.  Essentially it sets it up as a print server and you
assign the ip address you want to print to.  Keep in mind this is the way it
wors in a windows environment.

I am not a linux expert by any stretch of the matter, but you should just be
able to map to the gateway ip (usually 192.168.2.1 or something similar).
Take a look in your CUPS config and try and search for or manually enter the
gateway ip address to print to.
