Right after I sent this message, I came across this site:
http://howto.aphroland.de/HOWTO/MRTG/ApacheWithMRTG

It seems to do some of what I want, at least enough to get started. Still
looking for comments/suggestions in this area though - I'm pretty green with
MRTG.

Subject: [clug-talk] MRTG graphing for Apache Logs?

Hi all.

I was playing around with MRTG a little tonight, and now have it graphing my
email traffic. I'd like to modify it to also graph web page requests, bytes
transferred, etc, from my Apache logs. If possible, I'd like to do this for
each of my virtual hosts.

I've done a little research and have come across mod_watch, but am not sure
if this is the best aproach. I would rather not add any extra modules to
the server unless I really need them. mod_watch looks to be very flexible,
but I guess I just don't know enough about it to feel comfortable with it
yet. Can anyone offer any comments on mod_watch? Are there any other
scripts I should maybe take a look at to get the graphs I'm after?

I am currently using Analog to monitor the statistics of my web server, and
even have it nicely setup for my virtual hosts. However, this doesn't
really give me much detail with regards to bandwidth utilization. I would
like to augment the Analog reports with some MRTG graphs - for the server as
a whole, and the individual virtual hosts.

Thanks for any feedback.

Shawn
