Hi All, Awhile ago someone said they had downloaded Suse Pro 9.0 and was offering to anyone who wanted it. Just wondered who that was and if that offer was still open and if they will be going to the meeting tomorrow?
I was doing some testing and Suse (Live Eval) did a sweet job detecting everything and setting everything. Interface was nice as well. Was even impressed by the addition of some TV Tuning card software (I have an ATI All-In-Wonder 128 video card), There was a few things like the TV software that wouldn't work properly, but I would guess that is partially because of the eval status. Regardless I think I can deal with a few quirks. Gives me something to play with. Once I get my 160GB hard rive finally installed it will nestle itself nicely on a 20GB partition (or so) and then I can ditch Windows out of this system. If anyone can burn me a copy I will swap blanks for them. Let me know.
