It looks like another two years before the next version of Windows...
With Linux, updates are much more frequent. Gentoo: every time something new is released :)
Fedora: every 6 months.
Windows: 3 years and counting...
When will microsoft learn: simplicity isn't a bad thing. One of the reasons I hated (past tense) coding for Windows was that everything was so complex compared to the equivilent task on Linux. Do you even want to think about how much of a programming nightmare this fabled "full-featured filesystem" will be?
It physically hurts me to think that a company this stupid is able to survive. (But I like their games)
