When Shaw phoned me about my month of excess usage, 33 Gig, they referred me to their "terms of use" web page for details of my sins.....

I noticed today that the link to "terms of use" on their site ( http://www.shaw.ca/aboutus/termsofuse.html ) points to a broken link. But thank God there is a link to Microsoft Support for help :)-

It used to say 1 gig up, 6 gig down. That was a years ago so I'm not sure what they are saying now...

They were more concerned about traffic off their network, both up and down, with upstream being a bigger concern. They weren't as concerned about local traffic, ie local news, email, local web, etc, since they don't pay extra for this traffic.

Hello.

I recently purchased a house, and one of the things I did was get setup
with Shaw High Speed Internet. I went with one of their bundles.

While I was setting that up I asked about what their monthly traffic limits
are. Nobody there could really answer that question. Although they
generally said unless your a consistent hardcore abuser there isn't one.

Generally speaking I'm not a massive downloader, but I'm interested. Does
anybody know what their traffic limit is?

I know their small business package has a 50GB up/down traffic limit. Is it
similar for the home offering.
