Hi there, This has more to do with the fact that the "Big Red N" is pushing hard to get SuSE to the top of the charts.
Check out Novell's site for loads ....and I do mean LOADS (~10GB or so) of free software as well as eval vers for download--Novell as well as SuSE oriented. Once you have the "personal" ver, just install apt4rpm for SuSE and go to town with "upgrading" your distro to the pro version. You also always have the option of doing an FTP-based install of "pro" or downloading all ~4.5GB of data to burn your own SuSE 9.1 Pro DVD--many choices and options on hand. Cheers!
