basically, you'll need to whip up a lilo.conf (covered in the above linked HOWTO) and run /sbin/lilo which will install lilo on your disk. if knoppix doesn't provide lilo (e.g. only uses grub), you'll need to install that first =) i have no idea what knoppix is using these days.
At least with the GRUB floppy on hand, I will be able to boot as long as the WinXP partition isn't corrupted.
I much prefer GRUB to LILO, and if I configure grub.conf right, and keep the disk in, it will be just like having an MBR. So can anyone help with THAT?
