Bah, sorry for the long winded troubleshooting reply before this one; I got your e-mails just after I sent. :-P Aaron, setting the Embedding option to 'Show file in embedded file viewer' for text/plain works perfectly. I'm not sure why the setting for the entire text group didn't work, but it matters not now. I hadn't recognized that Konqueror was loading the Embedded Advanced Text Editor, or I could have manually chose to right-click the hyperlink => Preview In => Embedded Advanced Text Editor. :-P Next time. ;-) Thanks for your help Neil and Aaron.
