Hi Tom.

I think this might be an unfortunate incident where email is not always the 
best communication tool.  Sometimes a perfectly innocent message may come 
across as being very terse.  My personal take on the previous messages was 
more along the lines of "right, security might be a problem, lets take some 
steps to minimize these issues."  

Also, on a mailing list, if you reply to a message, chances are the response 
is going to the whole mailing list.  Of course, the list administrators might 
be able to alter this so a response goes to only the original sender, but 
that defeats the purpose of a mailing list.  I myself recently made a blooper 
with regards to this and inadvertently sent a message to the list that was 
only intended for a single person.

I hope you you are able to consider any potentially offending messages in a 
different light (considering emotions and tone of voice doesn't always come 
across right), and see them for the helpful tips they were intended as.

Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting, and hopefully your wireless 
works well.  (I've yet to take the wireless plunge...)
