My search has told me that nearly no g cards work with Linux
Please see the following site for a wrapper that will allow many cards to work with Linux.
http://www.linuxant.com/driverloader/
Still haven’t had a window of opportunity to try it myself so if you get it to work please let me know.

Hello All
Does anyone have any recommendations on which Wireless 802.11g PCMCIA Adapter will work well with Mandrake 10?

Here is a late reply, I am working away(Edmonton) from home(Red Deer)
and I don't really have internet. By this I mean I have my laptop and a wireles card (which by the way is an SMC g card sorry but I can't remember the card number),but I seem to have picked up a wireless connection from somewhere near where I am staying. This is the first time I have used the card as I bought the card on sale at tigerdirect.ca and I don't have a wireless network setup at home (yes I know that is lame). It works great in Mandrake 10.1 bata2, all I had to do was load the firmware from prism54.org, reboot, answer some simple questions and surf away. Hope this helps.
Brian
