But yes the idea is to sell services and (dedicated) servers if the customer needs it, 'builded' around several GPL'ed but altered products (GUI changes only).
And I doubt it if the 'changes' are gonna be released under the GPL.
(they see it as new software so they are free to license it the way they want...???)
But if they do release it under the GPL than it is all okay?
I can't imagin that one can remove the (C) Copyright notices/logo's from a screen
change the colors and 'sell' it as their own product (without asking money for it directly) is legal...
even if you release the changes under GPL on a web-site.
And even if they re-release it under the GPL I think it shows very low business ethics,
I hope they will sponsor at least the products they use, but I doubt it.
The GPL is all about 'sharing' code and make code better due to community efforts.
These guys think if they don't charge money for it they are okay and that's not true...
It is all about opening up the code you write, you can charge money for it, if you want.
Example the Dansguardian guy.
