There used to be one, a long time ago, but it got shut down. I have been working on getting a new site up to handle this type of thing. I even have the url registered. If all goes well I should have the completed before the end of the month. It should handle all types of hardware buy/sell/trade in the Calgary area. If some of you are interested I can send out a notice once I have the site up. I myself have never really been a fan of them, but they do serve a purpose. I didn't realize we had a specific item in there regarding buying/selling. I can see the intent of the guideline, and agree with the intent, but it's broadly stated and if applied as is, then we should never see any sales/buying/wanted types of postings on the list. What are your thoughts on this? Is this a guideline that needs refinement? Or is it fine the way it is? My own thoughts on this are that we are denying our members a service - a method for them to get rid of older/unwanted hardware, and linking other members up with hardware they may want/need. I feel this "service" should be accessible, though not necessarily as part of the mailing list. The list though is our only real venue at this time for this sort of thing. My thoughts.
