First of all, check out this guide on locking down the Gnome desktop: http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/RHEL-4-Manual/desktop- guide/ch-ddg-lockdown.html Then go under Applications/Preferences/More Preferences/Sessions, click on the "Startup Program" tab, click "Add" type "mozilla" into the box and click "Ok". This will setup mozilla to start when Gnome starts up. From within Mozilla, you can go to Edit/Preferences and type a url into the "Location" box. This will make it your default start page.
