Hello all CLUG members: I am a 17 year old student attending Bishop Grandin High School.I just switched over to linux as a workstation and desktop replacement.I am running redhat 8.0.I have very few negative things to say about Linux,so far it has outperformed windows in almost every way.I am looking forward to learning more about Linux with all of you! I do, however have a few questions... a) I tried to download Limewire, but I am told that I am missing modules, how can I solve this? b) I seem to be having trouble with GRIP,I rip a cd, but when I play the file, my audio player won't recognize it. c)Where can I find a good mpeg player?preferable in the rpm format.
These may seem like silly questions, but I am very new to the system, so I haven't mastered it completely yet.I would appreciate any help you could give me on these subjects.
